Luther Gerlach, a phenomenal photographer and subject of my film Amelie and Alchemy, did a photoshoot a while back in a beautiful house in Los Angeles, just off of La Cienega in Hollywood. I tagged along and shot some footage on my trusty ol’ reflex 16mm wind-up Bolex Here’s some interesting footage that I shot on 16mm film that has a “Use by 1965″ stamp on it. I’m surprised anything came out at all. Let me know what you think! I don’t know what to do with it yet.
